CPGCL operates power plants in Quetta, Sukkur, and Guddu, and plays a vital role in providing optimum electrical energy to the national grid. The selected candidate will be responsible for a wide range of security management functions, ensuring the safety and operational integrity of the power plant.

Job Designation and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be appointed as Deputy Manager (Security) and will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer of the company. The responsibilities for this position are extensive and crucial for the organisation’s security framework. Key duties include:

Ensuring 24/7 physical security of the power plant, including gates, critical installations, and housing colonies.
Conducting security risk assessments and implementing effective access control protocols.
Coordinating with law enforcement agencies and district administration for intelligence sharing and response preparedness.
Collaborating with other departments within the company to ensure effective internal plant security.
Developing and maintaining site safety and compliance with all relevant security regulations.
Implementing cost-effective use of company resources related to security.
Arranging logistical support and protocol services for VIP visits, board meetings, and official audits.
Supervising official events, training, and site inspections from government and regulatory bodies.

Qualification and Experience Requirements:

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the position:

Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Security Management, or an equivalent qualification from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized university.
Experience: Preference will be given to retired officers of the Armed Forces of the rank equivalent to Lt. Col. or above. These candidates should have an “Exemplary” service record and medical category “A.”
Age Limit: The maximum age for applicants is 57 years.

Remuneration and Contract Terms:

Compensation: CPGCL offers a competitive salary package commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
Contract Period: The initial contract will be for a period of one (01) year, with the possibility of a further extension based on satisfactory performance and job requirements.
